The following personas interact with Application Orchestration:

Application Developer

Creates and Uploads individual microservices and/or applications to the Application Catalog

Independent Software Vendor (ISV)

Assembles individual software components to create a solution (“Deployment Package”) that may be deployed at an edge.

DevOps / IT / OT

Deploys Deployment Packages onto edge sites via policies and manages the lifecycle of deployed applications. Observes the performance of edge nodes and repairs edge sites that may be damaged.

SRE / Intel Support

Proactively and reactively addresses problems with Open Edge Platform components.
