Metro AI Suite Hardware Partner Workflow#
This section describes the Metro AI Suite workflow for hardware partners. See the repository-wide suite overview and application index in Metro AI Suite; application-specific details remain in each application’s documentation.
Intended Audience#
This guide is for:
Hardware partners
Developers
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
System Integrators (SIs)
Customers evaluating Intel® edge AI systems
You can use Metro AI Suite to qualify and understand your systems’ AI capabilities.
Hardware Partner Workflow#
Bring your AI-ready Intel-based systems and do the following:
Qualify: Run vision and AI qualification package through the Intel® Edge System Qualification (Intel® ESQ) tool. Then, list qualified systems in Intel’s AI-Ready Hardware Catalog so that your customers can find your hardware on intel.com pages.
Measure AI Performance: Use the Visual Pipeline and Platform Evaluation Tool (GUI tool) to measure AI performance so that the audience can check the number of vision AI streams that can be placed on the hardware.
Demonstrate AI capability: Install and evaluate visual and generative AI sample applications so that the audience can see practical use cases. Then, demonstrate your (no-code) AI solutions to customers.
Additional step: Consider adding Metro AI Suite components to your software pages, e.g. the Visual Pipeline and Platform Evaluation Tool that can demonstrate performance.
Intel® Edge System Qualification (Intel® ESQ)#
Intel® Edge System Qualification (Intel® ESQ) is a self-service qualification framework for AI edge systems that helps validate hardware for performance, compatibility, and reliability in Vision AI and Generative AI workloads. Intel ESQ supports system qualification, catalog visibility, and partner benefits.
For more information, see:
Additional Intel ESQ guidance is available in:
AI-Ready Hardware Catalog#
The Hardware Catalog is a directory of Metro AI Suite-qualified systems. It enables hardware partners to qualify system portfolios, customers to identify suitable hardware, and ISVs and system integrators to locate compatible platforms.
You can discover the systems by:
Processor type
Geography
Industry
Application requirements
Only Metro AI Suite-qualified systems are included.
Visual Pipeline and Platform Evaluation Tool#
Visual Pipeline and Platform Evaluation Tool benchmarks Visual AI workloads and helps users identify suitable hardware configurations. For more information, see Visual Pipeline and Platform Evaluation Tool.
Use the library documentation for the duplicated operational details:
The suite repository also includes a performance-monitoring tutorial.
Applications and Reference Solutions#
Metro AI Suite includes Visual AI, Generative AI, and agent-based applications, tutorials, and blueprints. See Metro AI Suite for more information.
