# System Requirements

This section shows the hardware, software, and platform requirements to help you set up and run Model Download efficiently.

Model Download currently supports CPU-, GPU-, and NPU-based runs, and is a prerequisite to the Gen AI sample application. Hence, the system requirements is as per the documentation in the sample application.
